On November 15, 2011, MyPRGenie and teamed up for an online content marketing master class for bloggers and marketers who want to use online marketing techniques to get their message heard and make content "go viral".
The webinar is based on a case study of how Distribion launched its blog and content marketing strategy during the first quarter of 2011. Although the company had a great story to tell, it didn’t have an unlimited budget or huge marketing team. Online marketing through the blog and website, combined with a variety of online PR and social media marketing tools, proved to be the fastest and most cost-effective way to meet its objectives.
Within a few weeks of launch The Distributed Marketing Blog, online and social media marketing techniques had attracted an audience of over 117,000 visitors, and the company's content had been picked up by a number of media outlets including PC World, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Computerworld, CNet, BNet, and Fox News. A broad social media marketing effort that included timing messages at the optimum times kept the momentum going.
